Founded by Cameron Guertin, Royal Mobile Auto Detailing grew from a love for cars and the art of restoration into a trusted mobile detailing service serving Peterborough, the Durham Region, and the GTA. Cameron’s mission is simple: deliver showroom-quality results and exceptional convenience, bringing luxury detailing directly to your doorstep. Every vehicle is treated with care, craftsmanship, and the commitment to look and feel like new.
I grew up in the small town of Orono, Ontario, where my love for anything on wheels started early. Some of my best memories come from riding my ATV through the Ganaraska Forest, exploring trails and learning the value of patience, focus, and respect for machines. Even then, I was drawn to the details, the hum of an engine, the way mud washed off to reveal the shine beneath, and how every vehicle told a story. I also spent countless hours helping my dad work on his 1975 Chevy Camaro and clean it to perfection, while my uncle tinkered with classic cars and kit cars. Those early experiences weren’t just fun, they sparked a passion for car care and restoration that would grow into a lifelong pursuit.
During my time at Clarke High School in Newcastle, Ontario, that passion only grew stronger. I’ve been going to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport) since I was a child, completely drawn to the energy, sound, and craftsmanship that fuel the automotive world. The smell of race fuel, the roar of engines, and the excitement people had at the track left a lasting impression. It wasn’t just about speed, it was about care, discipline, and performance, values that still guide my work today. Owning my own dream car, a 2018 Subaru BRZ, and taking it to the track while meticulously detailing it after every run fueled my passion even further, combining the thrill of performance with the art of restoration and precision detailing.
I’ve always had a curious mind and a busy set of hands. At one point, I thought I might wire houses as an electrician. Then I caught myself browsing real estate listings, thinking maybe I’d sell dream homes. But somewhere between chasing sparks and open houses, I realized my true passion had been sitting in the driveway the whole time. That passion grew even stronger when I bought my Subaru BRZ, which I’ve been upgrading and taking to the track. Combining performance, precision, and hands-on restoration. I still head out to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park from time to time to soak in the roar of engines and the thrill that started it all. Nothing compares to the feeling of restoring life to a vehicle. Turning dull paint into a mirror or bringing an interior back from chaos to comfort. It’s more than just detailing to me. It’s restoration, it’s therapy, it’s art. While other careers flickered, this one roared to life and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Royal Mobile Auto Detailing was built from that foundation. What began as a personal drive to perfect the look and feel of vehicles quickly evolved into a professional service with growing support from friends, family, and clients. Each positive review and returning customer pushed Royal Mobile to new heights, transforming a one-person vision into a trusted name across Peterborough, the Durham Region, and the GTA. Along the way, our work was recognized by the community when I won the Platinum Award for Best Auto Detailer in Peterborough, Ontario, voted by local residents. The journey has been fueled by passion, hard work, and a community that believes in what I do.
